The National Defence Academy(NDA) is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces where the cadets of the three wings of Indian Armed Forces undergo training in their respective academies. NDA is the first tri-service academy in the world. The foundation bricks of this academy were laid down with a view to produce the best soldiers and officers for the Indian Armed Forces."Service before Self " is the motto taught to each and every cadet at NDA. This motto ever reminds them of their duties and their service towards their motherland and their country. NDA is not just an academy to train officers but also a place where gems of the best fighting units are carved to strengthen the military power of the country. There is no count to achievements made by NDA alumni and the amount of courage they have shown in the battlefield without caring a bit for their life. NDA boosts its cadets with a sense of " Nation before Us". A cadet at NDA truly feels what it means to lead from front facing all the odds and without caring for any difficulties thriving in his path he walks through it and executes his service.
